Parent Power

I am passionate about the institute of the Family and its Wellbeing; I believe Parents have the potential to be the game changers in supporting children and young people on their journey to achieving the best Life outcomes so they can successfully transition into adulthood.

As a mother of four; I have first hand experience of raising the next generation of adults. My ambition is to be intentional in my parenting. I work hard to nurture their health, development and wellbeing. I hope they will lead healthy and fulfilled lives and make a contribution to creating a better and thriving society for all.

As a parenting expert, with 15 years experience in supporting families; I believe parenting should be valued as the bedrock society and one of the opportunities to in still and nurture a child's internal sense of self, an inner compass for the life that they choose to lead, to in still confidence and the skills necessary for their happiness and wellbeing.

As the founder at Family Services at Parent Power Limited: I practice as a Family Wellbeing Trainer. With my team we work to provide Parenting Educational Services through Training and Consultation. We work with parents and professionals and empower and equip them to effectively solve parenting challenges and dilemmas; giving them the tools to confidently build the skills of families so they can successfully support the children and young people in their care.

I am raising my 4 children in a culture that I feel is contrary to the principles and values I hold dear and I believe I speak for many who have the same view. Our services are underpinned by particular values that we seek to reflect with all those that we work with.

We endeavour to engage and provide accessible services to all families ; in particular families with additional vulnerabilities and with children in the adolescent phase. We do this through training to parents and the professionals that support them. We also provide digital platform for further parenting education provision.

I believe our social mission and our services that reflect this will provide positive life outcomes for families; where parents can be the game changers in raising the next generation.
