AutismAble

We are AutismAble, a service for neurodivergent people based in South Shields, North Shields and Sunderland.

The majority of our members are young adults (typically in their 20s and 30s), but our service is open to anyone over 16.

Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, their families and their carers. Our mission is simple: to enable, empower and enrich.

Our services range from personalised life-long learning to enabling someone to live independently, developing the skills and experience needed for employment, and even things like accessing the community and encouraging our members to build confidence in their identity by pursuing their hobbies and interests.
