Climate Uni

Climate-U is connecting universities, communities, and changemakers to co-produce research and advance climate action worldwide. The Climate-U Network is a global community of researchers, educators, students and activists dedicated to transforming higher education in response to the climate crisis. The Network seeks to strengthen climate action within and beyond higher education institutions through participatory research, collaborative projects, events and publications. Together, we facilitate interdisciplinary learning across borders that meaningfully responds to the climate crisis. The network brings together universities from around the world committed to working together to address the climate crisis. The network grew out of the original Climate-U project (Transforming Universities for a Changing Climate) which ran from February 2020 - January 2024, funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund.
