Woofers World began in 2005 and is family owned and operated pet care provider. Our flagship dog daycare "Woofers Dog Lounge" is a modern indoor/outdoor dog daycare in Moorabbin, providing boutique and fun experience for dogs of all ages and breeds.
Woofers World started out as a dog minding agency then the business soon morphed into dog walking and other pet care services and now operates 365 days a year offering opportunities for all pets to play, pamper or stay.
Over time, Woofers has grown organically—always with the aim of improving. Improving the quality of services, the quality of care, and even the industry itself. The expert team add accountability, consistency, educated and passionate staff, and a high standard of service to an industry often overlooked as a profession. The business evolved from its humble beginnings, moving into a bricks-and-mortar facility in Ormond in 2014, and we've always stayed true to our family-owned and operated roots.
People sometimes mistake us for a big corporate operation, but we're actually a family business—big enough to be good, small enough to be great. Unlike other players in the industry that use subcontractors, every person on our team is a full-time staff member who's been democratically elected by the existing crew —our team literally decides who joins.
In 2024, we expanded by taking over a struggling dog daycare, revitalising it, and adding quality daycare services. Today, with two facilities, 12 dog walking vans, and a team of about 20 full-time staff—including certified Dog Trainers, Animal Handlers, and expert Groomers—we provide grooming, pet minding, dog walking, daycare, and looking forward to launching board and train services in 2026.
We operate 365 days a year using fear-free, force-free methods, and our team works so closely together that when you call the office, you'll likely speak to someone who actually knows your dog.
