Organisateur de Number Natter (Tuesdays)
Multiply is here to boost people’s confidence and ability to use maths and numbers effectively in daily life, at home and work. This includes helping people attain a formal qualification to open doors to new jobs, career progression and/or further study. All adults who need to improve their numeracy (up to and including level 2 or equivalent) will be able to access free flexible courses and initiatives that fit around their lives. In support of this project Truro and Penwith College will deliver a programme of free online, workplace and College based activities that will improve participation and confidence among adults in numeracy activities plus provide the necessary foundations for Multiply participants to then progress onto further training, accredited qualifications, access career progression pathways or feel more assured in their ability to support their family with maths. All of our courses offer both learning and personal support from specialist staff that is tailored to meet your specific needs. You can study at your own pace, at a time that suits you, with the freedom to revisit areas of the course as little or as much as you like without having to keep the same pace as others. The project will focus on 4 key activity areas:Courses to build confidence and skills needed to apply for certain jobs and to develop employment opportunitiesActivities and courses for parents and carers to help them support their children with maths and maths homeworkCourses to build confidence and help you apply maths to daily life.Collaboration with employers to design and deliver bespoke programmes for their workforce.
