About this event
Description
Tango music is perhaps one of the most sensual and mysterious in the world. I'm sure you've heard it before and maybe even danced to it too. But, how much do you really know about it? In the previous class we talked about how did Tango start, who were the first musicians on playing this music, why is Carlos Gardel so famous, among other things. Now we will cover from the greatest composers and orchestras of the Golden Age to the Tango Nuevo of the present day: Aníbal Troilo, Osvaldo Pugliese, Juan D'Arienzo, Astor Piazzolla, Gotan Project, O.T. Fernández Fierro and more!
During this 90-minute master class, Flavio Romanelli will attempt to unravel many of the secrets of this wonderful music. We will enjoy old footage, listen to great recordings, translate song lyrics, watch videos and much more! There will also be special moments for questions and comments from the participants.
Join us on this fantastic journey through the history of tango music!
