TechTrain of March 2020 is all about AR, VR and HoloLens

Session 1: Capabilities and advantages of the new version of the HoloLens (Wouter Martens of Mr. Watts)

As of now, we’ll actually start ‘wearing’ computers, as part of our work outfit or professional equipment. We’ll interact with them in ways more natural and organic than ever before: driven by artificial intelligence, these computers will create completely new ‘immersive’ interfaces and we will operate them with voice and gesture interactions.

Mr. Watts is a digital agency specialised in Mixed Reality solutions for HoloLens. They empower businesses in a multitude of industries to leverage the possibilities of Mixed Reality and the HoloLens.

Wouter will explain why they focus on the HoloLens, and elaborate on the capabilities and advantages of the new version of the HoloLens. He will also inspire you by showing several production use cases.

Session 2: Abilitee: learning in a virtualized 3D environment (Bart Van Hecke, RMDY ARVR)

Every year, companies or training centres spend a lot of money training new or existing employees. Often this is done using ineffective classical methods, resulting in human error and high costs for the company. With Abilitee, RMDY offers an answer to this challenge.

Abilitee is a virtual training tool that allows training managers to build their own procedures and tasks in a simulated 3D environment and teach employees how to deal with these procedures in a compelling and playful way.
