Building on a survey among local authorities and on the climate-neutrality target of the European Union, the Covenant of Mayors movement in Europe is getting bolder: signatories are invited to step up their ambitions and accelerate a just climate transition!

Local leaders from our Political Board will show the way and be the first to embrace the new Covenant vision! You will get the chance to hear why it makes sense for local leaders to renew their ambitions as part of the European Covenant of Mayors movement.

Private session - Nomination of Ambassadors from the European Committee of the Regions

The event will also celebrate in a private session the official nomination of the European Committee of the Regions Ambassadors of the Covenant of Mayors. The Committee of the Regions has been supporting the initiative since its creation in 2008.
