POSTPONED - DAS HAUS presents Nadar Ensemble
Evenementdetails
Over dit evenement
Omicron is relentless, and it seems DAS HAUS isn't spared. We sadly announce we have to postpone our concert with Nadar Ensemble on Saturday. We were very much looking forward to seeing you again, but we'll have to be patient once more.
We are working hard to confirm a new date for this concert quickly. As soon as that happens, we'll be back with more information. Ticket holders will be able to keep their ticket for the new date, join us for a different artist or get a refund in case the alternatives do not suit their schedule.
----
Adventure, interdisciplinarity and above all a strong and critical contact with today’s world through the use of new technologies. These are some of the main objectives for Nadar Ensemble. They are inspired by Gaspard-Félix Tournachon (1820-1910), whose pseudonym was Nadar. He was not only a well-known photographer, balloonist, caricaturist, spy, art critic and curator, but regularly organized informal salons to which he invited artists, thinkers, writers and scientists, thus creating a true cross-disciplinary dialogue.
Since our 21st century is pluriform, multi- and transmedial, and is more and more inhabited by digital natives and a networked generation Nadar Ensemble is not only fascinated by contemporary music, but also by film, the visual arts, performance, theatre, installation art and all that is contained – or not – by these categories. Nadar Ensemble wishes to develop forms of musical presentation that reflect this world, in an attempt to anchor new music more strongly in today's world.

The concert takes place at Palazzo, Théodore Verhaegenstraat 190, 1060 Sint-Gillis (Brussels). Paid street parking is available in the surrounding streets. We recommended taking public transport, as the venue is very accessible. The nearest tram stop is Koningslaan (Avenue du Roi), which accommodates tram lines 81 and 97 and bus 48. Bus lines 49 and 50 stop close to the venue as well, at bus stop Zweden (Suède) or Drukkerij (Imprimerie). This bus stops also accommodate tram line 82. If you come from outside of Brussels, you can get off the intercity train at Brussels-Midi (Brussels-South) train station. Palazzo is an eight minute walk from there.
