About this event

Trucks account for only 2% of the vehicles on the road. Yet, they are responsible for 22% of road transport CO2 emissions in the EU. And this trend is rising.

We cannot meet the Paris agreement without decarbonising road freight. The CO2 standards for trucks adopted last year are a first step in the right direction. But we need to go beyond and shift to zero emission trucks as soon as possible.

The brand-new European Commission, the Green Deal, and the upcoming revision of the Alternative for Fuels Infrastructure Directive and truck CO2 standards offer great opportunities to get zero-emission trucks on our roads.

Join our discussion on Wednesday 19 February, at Autoworld Brussels. During the morning session we will talk about electrification for city deliveries and regional transport. In the afternoon will be discussed options that exist to power long-haul trucks.
