EO Belgium presents - power players series

About this Event

EO Belgium welcomes two heavy hitters in the worlds of entrepreneurship, politics and investment to shed light on the “new normal” in which savvy business owners must operate.

Luc Osselaer is Director at Saffelberg Investments and a serial entrepreneur active in technology and communications. Early in his career, Luc was founder of eCOM Interactive and Ellips Communications (which was eventually purchased by Porter Novelli, part of the premier global communications group, Omnicom). Then during his tenure at ARINSO International, as head of Investor Relations and right hand to CEO and owner Jos Sluys, he played a role in its eventual $515 million sale to the British Northgate Information Systems.

As former Member of the European Parliament and Former Minister in the Belgian Federal Government (his tenure ended October 2020), Philippe De Backer has worked seamlessless across the domains of politics, business and science. As the Coronavirus descended upon Belgium, Philippe played a key role in leading the country’s Corona Taskforce. Most recently he was named an Independent Director of the Belgian fintech Unifiedpost Group.
