This Congress will provide a general overview of the European Green Deal incl. the Farm to Fork strategy & its possible impact on food law.

About this event

This online Congress will be held on Thursday 30th September 2021, from 9.30AM to 2.30PM CET and on Friday 1st October from 9.00AM to 12.30PM CET.

The Congress will aim to provide participants with a general overview of the European Green Deal, including the Farm to Fork strategy and its possible impact on food law. It will start with a keynote speech by Ms Annelise Fenger, the Deputy Director General of the Danish Food and Veterinary Administration (DVFA). This will be followed by the introductory address on the Farm to Fork strategy and its impact on food law by Ms Alexandra Nikolakopoulou from DG SANTE of the European Commission.

The Congress will be divided into three sessions dedicated to the following topics:

  • Sustainable food production & food innovation
  • Legal analysis of current dilemas for sustainable food production
  • Legal implications for the marketing of sustainable food
