About the speaker:
Xavier is one of our cofounders. He is a Belgian entrepreneur who lived in San Francisco in from 2009 till 2016. He is now between NYC and Brussels. He started Storify which got acquired by Livefyre then Adobe. After co-leading the #BEStartupManifesto with Karen Boers (Startups.be), he started Open Collective, a platform for communities to raise money in full transparency. Open Collective is already used by more than 600 communities around the world and all the top tech companies already use it to fund open source communities and tech meetups. He recently stepped down as CEO to give that role to a woman who is incredibly talented: Pia Mancini, the cofounder of Democracy.earth.
