It means concretely you will have to show at the entrance :

• Your entry ticket (received through your Eventbrite registration)
• Your personnal ID
• Your Covid Safe Ticket valid until the end of this event

What is a COVID Safe Ticket ?

You can use a Covid certificate to attend Covid-safe events in Belgium. In that context, the term 'Covid-safe ticket' is used. A Covid-safe ticket is therefore not a separate document. It is exactly the same as your Covid certificate. Your Covid certificate is in effect a second entry requirement in addition to your purchased admission ticket. Such a Covid-safe ticket gives you access to large events without having to wear a face mask or keep a 1.5-metre distance.

There are 3 different types of certificates that prove you are Covid-safe:

A vaccination certificate proves that you have been fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus. 15 days after the second dose for Pfizer

A test certificate proves that you have taken a negative Covid-19 test.

• Present a NEGATIVE PCR test dating back less than 48 hours (date and time of test) - Validity: day of the test + 2 days (end of validity at 11.59 p.m.).
• Present a NEGATIVE ANTIGENIC test dating back less than 24 hours (date and time of test) - Validity: day of the test + 1 day (end of validity at 11.59 p.m.).

A recovery certificate shows that you have recovered from Covid-19 after a previous positive Covid-19 test.

Be aware we won't organize testing on site

If you have an EU Digital Covid Certificate from another EU Member State.

In that case, all you need to do is have your certificate scanned at the entrance in your own country's app or on paper. The certificate will be checked according to the current Belgian rules for attending events.

If you don't have an EU Digital Covid Certificate from another Member State and you need to get tested in Belgium to obtain a certificate.

In that case, get tested at a doctor's surgery, a testing centre or one of the pharmacies offering Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT).

You must provide a phone number and you may be asked to provide an email address as well.

A Covid-19 Test Prescription Code (CTPC) is then sent in a text message and possibly also by email.

In case of a negative test, you can use this CTPC code and your phone number to download your EU Digital Covid Certificate in the CovidSafeBE app. If you don't have a smartphone, you can download the certificate on mijngezondheid.be/masante.be.
