FASE II (founded by Jesse Callaert and Mikaela Kelly) is proud to present it's 4-day workshop with Jesse Callaert in collaboration with 'Jeugd & Dans'.
Dive into an intense 4-day program that consists of classes in ballet, improvisation and will feature repertoire from world renowned choreographers Marco Goecke and Edward Clug.
After not being able to organise the second edition of 'Summer Workshop Antwerp' and a last minute cancellation of 'Winter Worskhop Antwerp' because of the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak, this workshop will finally be able to take place respecting the current COVID-19 measures in Belgium. The course will be open to pre-professional dancers ages 15+ and will be completely taught by Jesse Callaert (Ballet Zürich, Nederlands Dans Theater, Staatsballet Hannover) In order to preserve an intimate working environment, limited spots are available so don't hesitate to register!

About Jesse
Jesse Callaert (Ghent, Belgium) studied at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp for six years, providing him with a professional ballet training and a base for modern and contemporary dance. After graduating in 2017 and having danced as a guest dancer with Ballett Zürich, he joined the prestigious Nederlands Dans Theater 2 where he danced for 4 years. In July 2021 he then joined Staatsballett Hannover under the artistic direction of world renowned choreographer Marco Goecke. Jesse has performed works by Jiří Kylián, Sol León & Paul Lightfoot, Marco Goecke, Sharon Eyal, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Johan Inger, Edward Clug, Medhi Walerski, Dimo Milev, Felix Landerer, Alexi Ratmansky, Ben Van Cauwenbergh and Yannick Boquin.
Jesse has also choreographed pieces for the annual edition of 'Switch by NDT Dancers' as well as for the Royal Ballet School Antwerp, creates a broad variety of music compositions and participates in numerous film, fashion or tv projects alongside hosting his own podcast 'Fase II Fase' .
