AHOY! 25 YEARS MUSEUM TINGUELY

Museum Tinguely bestaat 25 jaar en viert dat met een nomadische zomer per schip doorheen Europa. Ze gooien hun anker uit op plaatsen die een belangrijke rol speelde in de artistieke carrière van Jean Tinguely: Parijs, Maastricht, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf…. en Antwerpen. Op de boot zelf, die in Antwerpen zal aanmeren aan het Asiadok, is de documentaire tentoonstelling “Et tout ceci est vrai!” te zien. Boslabs en museum Tinguely voorzien een tweedaags workshopprogramma.

PERFORMANCES

Nevin Aladağ, Keren Cytter & Marie-Caroline Hominal each prepared a new piece, specially for the 25 year existence of Museum Tinguely. Rooted in different fields ranging from music to theatre and dance, their works will showcase an array of different performance approaches. In this respect, their works will recall the many-faceted performance practices of Jean tinguely himself, as well as the blending of art and life that he so famously aspired to. The performance program starts at 18u near the boat in the Asiadok, from where we will collectively walk towards Het Bos, where the other performances are taking place.
