24km Burreken natural reserve in the Flemish Ardennes

You can only attend this hike with a valid ticket bought on Eventbrite! This event if for adults only.

The meeting location is Brussels-Central train station at 8h20 under the big sign with the train times. We then take the train at 8h32 direction Lichtervelde and get out at Oudenaarde train station. We then take a De Lijn bus at 9h42, line 16 to Geraardsbergen. The hike ends back at Oudenaarde train station.

You can buy a weekend round trip for the train. For the bus ride (only on the way there), you can buy a ticket in the ticket machine at the station, using the app, or by SMS.

We should be back in Brussels by 18h at the latest.

You'll need to show your Eventbrite ticket for the hike when you join the group at the station. Tickets are refundable until 24 hours before the start of the hike. This hike is for adults only.

Our speed will be moderate to fast. This means you should have recent hiking experience and be in good shape. You'll need good hiking shoes or boots, and plenty of water (1.5L minimum) and your lunch.
