Ahimsa - Professional TrainingAhimsa is Plymouth's Respect-accredited domestic abuse behaviour change service. We've been working with people who cause harm since 1990, alongside supporting their (ex)partners and families to stay safer.Our professional training programme is designed for Plymouth practitioners who encounter people who cause harm in their work - whether you're in probation, social care, housing, health, education, substance use services, or other frontline roles. We also have specialist youth and prevention focused training for those working with young people.Drawing on over 35 years of hands-on practice, our training is delivered by specialist practitioners who do this work every day. We offer half-day sessions, reflective practice, case study-based learning, and specialist development programmes - all grounded in what works, day in, day out.100% of participants say they found our training useful and would recommend it to others.
